Software
Maxoil place a strong emphasis on integrating innovative technology and supporting our clients' global operations by maintaining and maximising production in challenging environments.
Our team of highly skilled professionals are committed to providing added value through the development of key software applications that enable our clients to successfully manage asset performance.
SilverMax

SilverMax – Modelling the partitioning of elemental Mercury through various stages of upstream processing facilities is critical when developing appropriate mitigation strategies. Maxoil’s Mercury simulator, SilverMax, can be used for most typical oil & gas unit operations and it provides a quick, user-friendly method that supports an estimation of mercury distribution through a process facility, all of which are critical to ensuring:
- Regulations & compliance
- Asset integrity
- Water quality management
- Waste water disposal
- Safety and environmental concerns
FloatMax
FloatMax, that allows for modeling separation based on using gas floatation [...]
FloatMax – Maxoil has developed an induced gas floatation performance prediction model FloatMax, that allows for modeling separation based on using gas floatation. This model was conceptualised to evaluate design, sizing, and performance of DGF & IFG (hydraulic and mechanical). FloatMax assists in defining modifications and/or performance improvement guidelines.
GravMax
Effectively enables the user to determine vessel sizes, select internals, and asses the associated over performance [...]
GravMax – An application that enables the user to design (sizing) or evaluate gravity separators and scrubbers in detail, right down to the selection of suitable separation internals. The model effectively enables the user to determine vessel sizes, select internals, and assess the associated over performance. Furthermore, GravMax can also be used to evaluate an existing design and determine its theoretical performance, predicts D100 and OIW outlet of the separator. It can also simulate effects of shearing across a valve and simulate hundreds of process scenarios within a fraction of seconds.

SourMax – In both new field developments and for assessment of existing facilities, Maxoil undertakes a phased approach assessing the likely extent of souring, noting that each field (or even reservoir) must be considered on its own merits and that ‘souring’ refers specifically to the microbiologically mediated generation of H2S within the reservoir or production facilities. Our team has developed a simplistic souring model, SourMax, which uses stoichiometric conversion of available sulphate and volatile fatty acids to predict a worst case level of souring. This model will account for H2S generation over the life of the field and can be adapted to assess individual wells or full field.

The Chemical Management Programme provides an integrated and standardised approach for managing assets performance and [...]
Chemical Management Programme – Data and communication are often minimal or “siloed” between different teams within an organisation involved in the day-to-day operations of a given production facility (i.e. operations, monitoring, field services, process engineering etc.). We have developed a chemical management system which provides an integrated and standardised approach for managing assets performance and OPEX. This methodology in executing the Chemical Management Programme establishes pooled data for analysis and identification of trends, gaps and anomalies, and characterisation of production and component performance issues.
